What is Womb Healing and how it might hep your mental health

Over the last couple of years, I’ve been expanding my practice to be more holistic. I love talk therapy and continue to witness healing and change using this modality. However, I don’t believe that the mind exists in isolation from our body and spirit so I've expanded my training and practice to include reiki energy healing, womb healing, and somatic therapy. Many of you have done exercises and meditations from these modalities in conjunction with your counselling. Others have done full reiki energy healing or womb healing sessions and are often blown away by how deep these healing modalities can take you.

If you are looking for something that really allows you to dive deep into yourself and patterns, I highly recommend trying womb healing. As opposed to counselling, in a womb healing session we come up with a plan and specific exercises for you to work on outside of our sessions. It will include all aspects of your healing: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

What is womb healing?

Womb healing is a holistic practice aimed at supporting and restoring the health and well-being of the womb and reproductive system. It is based on the belief that the womb holds emotional, energetic, and spiritual imprints that can affect a person's physical and emotional health.

Womb healing may be of interest to you if you experience

PMS symptoms (physical or mental)

Reproductive condition such as PCOS, endometriosis or fibroids,

Infertility or pregnancy loss,

birth trauma.

However womb healing aims to not only restore the health of the physical womb and reproductive system but also to heal on deeper levels. This includes addressing intergenerational trauma, releasing energetic blocks and stagnant emotions stored in the body, and transforming old habits and patterns that no longer serve us. The ultimate goal of womb healing is to create space for women to open their energy centers, tap into their innate creativity, and embrace their authentic selves. This involves connecting with their intuition, fully expressing their truth, and stepping into their wise feminine self.

Some other issues that may bring you to womb healing include:

Motherwound

Physical, emotional, or sexual violence or assault

Grief & loss

People Pleasing

Shame or unworthiness

Depression or anxiety

Lack of excitement or creativity

Feeling repressed sexually or sensually

Inability to align with authentic self W
